Daphne Joy Breaks Silence Over Alleged Leaked Tape Claims
Daphne Joy Says Alleged Tape Was Recorded Without Consent
Daphne Joy has publicly addressed reports surrounding an alleged leaked tape linked to Sean “Diddy” Combs, describing the situation as painful and emotionally damaging.
In a statement shared on Instagram, the model reflected on her past relationship and claimed she crossed personal boundaries in an effort to please her former partner.
She said she deeply loved her former partner and tried to make him happy, even when it meant ignoring her own boundaries.
“Everybody plays the fool sometime, and I have been the biggest fool,” she wrote.
Joy also claimed the alleged footage was recorded without her consent.
According to her, the person connected to the video later tried to blackmail her for money.
“I was blackmailed by the person in the video,” she stated.
She alleged that threats were made to release the footage online if she refused to pay.
Joy explained that she almost gave in to the demands before deciding not to comply.
She further claimed the footage was eventually sold to a media outlet.
According to her, the company later backed away from releasing the material after understanding the circumstances surrounding the alleged recording.
The model described the incident as “triggering and painful.”
The controversy later drew a reaction from 50 Cent, who shares a son with Joy.
The rapper reacted on Instagram after the reports surfaced online.
Social media users have continued debating the situation, with many discussions focusing on consent, privacy and celebrity relationships.
Joy reportedly dated Diddy from 2021 until his arrest in 2024.
However, it remains unclear when the alleged tape was recorded.
Neither Diddy nor his representatives have publicly responded to Joy’s latest statement.
