According to her, publicly sharing details of a relationship online can sometimes attract unnecessary claims or controversy.

“Sometimes you wish you could post your boyfriend, but there are people who will claim they have been with him for years,” she said in the video.

Dr CharisHer husband, Vincent Ekow Assafuah, is a lawyer and politician who has represented the Old Tafo Constituency in Parliament since 2021. He won the parliamentary seat during the 2020 general elections on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party.

Before entering Parliament, Assafuah served as the Public Relations Officer at Ghana’s Ministry of Education.
