There are now more than over 14,000 confirmed cases of coronavirus across the continent, with a number of African countries imposing a range of prevention and containment measures against the spread of the pandemic.

According to the latest data by the John Hopkins University and Africa Center for Disease Control on COVID-19 in Africa, the breakdown remains fluid as countries confirm cases as and when. The whole of Africa has rising cases with Lesotho and Comoros being the only two countries holding out as of April 13.
Microsoft giant, Bill Gates’ wife says the lack of testing kits in Africa is the reason why the continent’s Covid-19 numbers are low but soon Africa will have dead bodies out in the streets.
According to Melinda Gates, she believes Africa will have a hard time dealing with the virus.
While the billionaire’s wife warned Africans about the future crisis which half of the world is already facing and struggling to deal with, many social commentators have slammed her for sounding so negative.
One of such persons who couldn’t keep mute over the comments is Ghanaian gospel musician cum pastor Sonnie Badu.
Sonnie Badu is unhappy about Melinda’s comments and has asked her to shut up adding that her “time will be up soon.
“You are not God … You are only human, Just like us. Do not over step your boundaries, don’t worry your time will be up soon … Africa will surprise the world, that is why for the first time we are ahead of you all … Madam, keep quite ???????????????????????? … my name is BADU”, he wrote.
