Abu Trica Alleges FBI Informant Pressured Him Over Account Details

Abu Trica Claims He Received Only Five Percent of Alleged $13,000 Share

Abu Trica FBI InformantFrederick Kumi, popularly known as Abu Trica, has made fresh claims about events that allegedly led to his recent arrest.

Speaking during an interview on Onua TV, the Ghanaian socialite alleged that an individual he described as an informant linked to the FBI repeatedly pressured him to provide account details.

According to Abu Trica, the individual is based in Cape Coast and contacted him several times regarding an account number.

He claimed that although the account already had a registered name attached to it, the informant allegedly insisted that he mention a different name.

“When I gave the informant the account, it already had a name attached to it, but they still wanted me to mention another name,” he said.

Abu Trica further alleged that the individual never explained the purpose of the account request despite repeatedly asking for the information.

He claimed the calls became persistent after he initially refused to provide the account details.

“The informant didn’t even tell me what the account was needed for. He kept disturbing me several times for the account number,” he stated.

According to him, the individual contacted him numerous times daily in an effort to obtain the information.

Abu Trica also addressed a transaction he said involved $50,000, alleging that $13,000 was taken from the amount before the remaining funds were distributed.

He claimed that after deductions and payments to others involved, he received only five percent of the amount linked to the transaction.

“The account does not belong to me. I don’t even know the account owner or have his contact,” he alleged.

His comments come amid ongoing public interest in the circumstances surrounding his arrest and the allegations connected to the case.

Authorities have not publicly responded to the latest claims made during the interview.
