Benjamin Asare, Inaki Williams, Partey Make Ghana’s 2026 World Cup Squad
Carlos Queiroz has officially named Ghana’s final squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup following weeks of scouting, analysis and assessment of players eligible to represent the country at the tournament.
The Mundial will be hosted across United States, Canada and Mexico from June 11, 2026.
In goal, Benjamin Asare, Lawrence Ati-Zigi and Joseph Anang were selected for the tournament squad.
Solomon Agbesi was also added as an extra member to support preparations.
The defensive department includes experienced names such as Baba Abdul Rahman, Gideon Mensah and Alidu Seidu.
Cyprus-based defender Derrick Luckassen earned a late call-up after replacing injured centre-back Alexander Djiku.
Djiku was ruled out after suffering a hamstring injury expected to keep him sidelined for at least six weeks.
The squad also includes defenders Jerome Opoku, Abdul Mumin, Jonas Adjetey and Kojo Oppong Peprah.
In midfield, Thomas Partey headlines the squad alongside Elisha Owusu, Kwasi Sibo, Augustine Boakye and Caleb Yirenkyi.

Ghana’s attack features a strong mix of pace, creativity and experience.
Jordan Ayew will captain the side once again, while Inaki Williams, Antoine Semenyo, Ernest Nuamah and Christopher Bonsu Baah were all included.
Brandon Thomas-Asante and Prince Kwabena Adu complete the attacking options for the tournament.
