The celebration began with a philanthropic gesture. Ahead of the birthday soiree, the founder of the Special Group of Companies commissioned a 600-unit ultra-modern dormitory block for Presbyterian Boys’ Secondary School.

Another major highlight came with the acquisition of a nearly $1 million Rolls-Royce Cullinan Mansory, which added to the luxury surrounding the occasion.

Guests arrived dressed in all white, creating a refined atmosphere as luxury vehicles lined the venue.

One of the most memorable moments of the evening was the unveiling of a mansion-shaped birthday cake inspired by the “ship house” linked to the Despite Media brand.

The cake featured detailed replicas and logos connected to the media empire, quickly becoming a major talking point among guests.

The entertainment lineup also drew attention throughout the night.

Osei Kwame Despite surprised attendees when he joined a live band on stage during a performance of Adult Music by Kwabena Kwabena.

The businessman briefly sang along, earning cheers from guests celebrating his close friend and business associate.

The night also featured cash giveaways. Osei Kwame Despite and Richard Nii Armah Quaye reportedly distributed $5,000 to attendees during performances.

Female guests who could sing Samini’s songs word-for-word were given the opportunity to win the cash prizes.

Music remained central to the celebration, with performances from some of Ghana’s biggest stars.

Artistes who performed included Stonebwoy, Becca, Fameye, Kwabena Kwabena, and legendary highlife musician Kojo Antwi.

Beyond the music and luxury, the gathering stood out for the calibre of personalities in attendance.

Notable guests included John Agyekum Kufuor, Mahamudu Bawumia, Julius Debrah, Kevin Okyere, Nana Kwame Bediako, Akwaboah, Nana Ama McBrown, Lydia Donkor, and John Jinapor.

The celebration reflected not only Dr Ofori Sarpong’s influence in business but also his strong connections across Ghana’s political, entertainment, and corporate landscape.
