Police Release CCTV After Man Sexually Assaulted on Train in South Yorkshire

Cops said a woman sexually assaulted a man as he walked past her seat, and they released CCTV images of a woman who may have information that could help with their investigation
Police have launched an appeal for information after a man was sexually assaulted on a train travelling between Sheffield and Worksop.
British Transport Police (BTP) said the incident took place on 14 December at around 9.40 pm. Detectives reported that a woman sexually assaulted the man as he walked past her seat during the journey.
Officers have released CCTV images of a woman they wish to speak to, believing she may have information that could assist the investigation.
“Detectives believe the woman in these CCTV images may have information that could help with their investigation,” a BTP spokesperson said.
Police are urging anyone who recognises the woman to come forward. Members of the public can contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference number 592 of 14 December.
